Baby cot
We are happy to provide You with a baby cot for €20.00 per night, subject to availability. Please note that prior reservation is highly recommended, as we have a limited number of baby cots.
Bakery
In the center of Altglashütten, about a 10-minute walk away, You will find the "Stehcafé zum kleinen Rathaus" with a selection of baked goods. It is located directly across from the "Gasthaus Zum Dorfkrug" at Bergweg 2.

Bicycle storage room
Both Apartment House No. 28 and Studio House No. 26 each have a bicycle storage room, which You can access with Your apartment key.
Please clean heavily soiled bicycles before storing them. You will find a hose for rinsing bikes near the storage room.
Bread rolls
Every morning, we deliver 2 bread rolls per person to Your door.
Breakfast
On the day of Your arrival, we provide a "Start Your Day" package in Your room. This is intended for the entire duration of Your stay.
The package includes:
Butter, jam, honey, Nutella,
savory vegetarian spread,
sliced cheese, Black Forest ham, salami,
muesli, organic whole milk,
mineral water, 4 Nespresso capsules
Additionally, every morning, we deliver 2 bread rolls per person to Your apartment door. If the included products are not sufficient, You can purchase more at the kiosk next to the reception.

Check in
Your apartment or studio will be available from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival. The reception is located in Studio House No. 26.
If You have booked an apartment, You are welcome to drive Your vehicle directly to the parking area in front of the Apartment House after checking in at the reception. After loading or unloading, please park Your car in the parking lot below the Black Forest Lodge.
Check out
Your apartment is available until 10:00 AM on the day of departure. We kindly ask You to load the used dishes into the dishwasher and turn it on before leaving. Please dispose of Your waste in one of our waste disposal rooms.
The waste room for Apartment House No. 28 is located directly to the left of the entrance in the wooden shed. The waste room for Studio House No. 26 is located to the right by the garages.
If the reception is unattended, you can leave the key to your apartment in the basket on the glass table in the entrance area.
Children
Of course, our younger guests are always welcome!
Please note that for youth protection reasons, persons under 18 are not allowed to use the textile-free sauna area in Apartment House. The textile sauna is accessible from age 16 and is located in the outdoor area between the pool and Studio House.
Please also note that children in the pool area must always be under supervision.
Cleaning
During Your stay, Your apartment will not be cleaned. We ask that You dispose of Your trash in the waste room (see section W -> Waste). We will handle the final cleaning, which is included in Your booking.
Coffee machine
Each apartment and studio is equipped with a filter coffee machine and a Nespresso capsule machine. Upon arrival, 4 capsules are provided for You. Additional capsules can be purchased at our kiosk next to the reception.
Cultural experience
In addition to its natural highlights, the Black Forest also offers a rich cultural experience. Feel free to check out our "Leisure" section on our website for inspiration!

Dogs & other pets
Pets are very welcome with us!
Please keep Your dog on a leash at all times on the grounds of the Black Forest Lodge. In the ski storage rooms, You will find towels to clean Your dog's paws. We have installed special waste bins with plastic bag dispensers for dog waste at the entrance to Apartment House No. 28.
We charge €15.00 per night for our animal guests.
E
Elevator
A platform lift has been installed in Apartment House No. 28 due to building regulations. Please note the following usage instructions:
Please do not lean against the walls or door or place anything on the edges of the platform, as the elevator will stop for safety reasons if the outer casing is touched.
After entering, hold down the button for the desired floor until You reach it. If You release the button, the elevator will stop. It will continue moving normally when You hold the button again.
E-bike charging
In our two in-house bicycle storage rooms, You can lock up and charge Your e-bikes.
Please clean heavily soiled bikes before storing them in the basement. You will find a hose for rinsing the bikes in front of the basement.
E-bike rental
Through our partner Berg.Fichte.Bike, You can rent 4 e-bikes and pick them up from our in-house bicycle storage room. You will find further information and the booking link at the bottom of the page.
E-charging station for cars
In front of Studio House No. 26, there is an e-charging station with two charging points for electric cars from the external provider "naturenergie".
Additional e-charging stations are located about a 5-minute drive away in the parking lots of the Wälder supermarket and Lidl, Ignaz-Gfell-Platz 3, 79868 Feldberg-Bärental.

If You have an emergency and the reception is not staffed:
Don’t panic - At our partner hotel Schloss Reinach, You can reach the reception team around the clock at 07664-407 444.
For emergencies such as fire, accidents, etc., please contact the emergency services directly.

Emergency exit
All emergency exits are marked in the hallways. The front doors are locked from the outside at night but can be opened from the inside at any time without a key.

Fireplace & Firewood
Some of our studios and apartments are equipped with a fireplace, and there is also a large fireplace in the lounge. Firewood is included in Your booking.
If You run out of firewood, You can find the wood storage between the pool building and the ski storage room of Apartment House No. 28.
From Studio House No. 26, go through the pool area, down the stairs, and You will find the storage room to Your right in the small entrance area.
From Apartment House, enter the lobby and turn left. Go through the ski/bike storage room to the entrance area, where the storage is located on the left side.

Grocery shopping
Good shopping options include the regional "Wälder" supermarket, just a five-minute drive away, a Lidl, and the Schwarzwaldmaidle bakery/cafe in Bärental, Ignaz-Gfell-Platz 3, 79868 Feldberg.

You will find our gym on the second floor of Studio House No. 26.
Please note that children under 16 are not allowed to use the gym without adult supervision.

You also have the opportunity to visit a hairdresser while on holiday. The Creativ Haardesign Annette Bartsch salon is located at Bergweg 2, about a 10-minute walk away.
Hochschwarzwald Card
The digital Hochschwarzwald Card is included in Your stay. After check-in, You will receive an email with a link containing all the instructions for downloading and using the card. Please note that this service is provided by Hochschwarzwald Tourismus GmbH.
Hotplates
Different stoves are installed in our studios and apartments. The stoves, which can be operated by touch, work as follows:
Stove with 2 hotplates:
- Switch on: On button on the far right
- (Un)lock: Press and hold the button with the lock symbol
- Select plate: Press circle with dot; the dot indicates the position of the plate: Dot at the top = upper plate.
- You can regulate the heat using plus and minus
Stove with 4 plates:
- Switch on: Circle button at the bottom right next to the On symbol (do not press the symbol itself but the circle to the left of it)
- (Un)lock: Circle button next to the key symbol (do not press the key itself but the circle to the left of it)
- Select plate: Select the corresponding plate by pressing the round circle button (not the symbol itself)
- You can set the heat using the circle buttons to the left of the plus and minus symbols
- Turn off: Circle button at the bottom right next to the On symbol

Key
Upon check-in, You will receive Your key either directly from our reception team on-site or, by arrangement, from a key box.
This key will work for all doors. At checkout, simply return the key to the reception or place it in the basket on the glass table in front of the reception.
If You accidentally lock Yourself out, please contact our reception team on-site or call +49 (0) 7664 - 407 444. We always have spare keys available for emergencies.

Right next to the lobby in Studio House No. 26, You will find our cozy lounge with a fireplace. Here, You can end the evening by the crackling fire and enjoy a round of billiards.

Pool
Pool Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
You are welcome to use our pool area. The water temperature is approximately 29°C. In the summer, You can open the window front.
Please note that children must be under constant supervision in the pool area. Jumping from the edge of the pool is unfortunately not permitted.

You will find our reception in the Studio House No. 26. It is staffed daily from 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Outside these hours, or if the reception is temporarily unattended, You can reach the reception of our partner hotel Schloss Reinach around the clock at +49 (0) 7664 - 407 444.

Rooftop terrace
Above the pool area, You will find a rooftop terrace with loungers. There is access via the sauna area in the apartment house no. 28 and another access through the hallway between the pool and studio house no. 26, next to the textile sauna.

The Black Forest Lodge offers two saunas for Your use.
In Apartment House No. 28, You will find a Finnish sauna with relaxation loungers and a cascade shower on the 1st floor, immediately to the right of the stairs, next to the small house library. If the sauna is not turned on, You can find the control panel next to the entrance door of the sauna. Please use this sauna without swimwear.
Our textile sauna is located in the outdoor area between the pool and Studio House No. 28. The control panel to turn on the sauna is located immediately to the left of the entrance area.

Shower
Each apartment and studio has a bathroom with a shower, and some also include a bathtub.
In the pool area and the sauna area in the apartment house no. 28, You will also find showers that You can use before and after using the saunas and the pool.
Ski storage
Both Apartment House No. 28 and Studio House No. 26 have an in-house storage room where You can also store skis. Both storage rooms have a ski boot dryer wall.
You can access the storage room from Studio House No. 26 directly from the parking lot; the door is located immediately to the left of the stairs.
To reach the storage room of Apartment House No. 28, go up the driveway leading to the first entrance door on the right side. From the entrance area, turn directly left to find the access to the ski storage room.
Stove

Table football & Table tennis
Opening hours: 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
In the basement of Studio House No. 26, You will find a table football and a table tennis table.
Towels
In Your apartment, each guest is provided with a pool towel, a sauna towel, a bathroom towel set, a bathrobe, and a pair of slippers for the entire duration of Your stay.
Of course, You also have the option to wash and dry the towels in our in-house laundry rooms.
TV
Almost all of our TVs operate via satellite.
Due to a cable break, some devices are not connected to satellite, so we have installed WaipuTV on them. These devices are located in:

When You turn on one of these LG televisions, press the home button on Your remote control to access the app overview. From there, select the WaipuTV app to view the program guide.

Waste
Under the sink, You will find a pull-out trash bin and trash bags. Please separate:

-Residual waste, including organic waste
-Plastic
-Glass
Both Apartment House No. 28 and Studio House No. 26 have a waste room.
The waste room of Studio House No. 26 is located below the studio house next to the garages. When leaving the studio house, go down the stairs, turn left, and pass by the cellar entrance. After about 20 meters, You will find the waste room on the left side.
The waste room of Apartment House No. 28 is located right next to the entrance door in the wooden shed. Go through the lobby of the apartment house to the outside and turn right.

WIFI is available throughout the entire building free of charge.
